Itinerary
Early Morning – Hotel Pickup
If the hotel transfer option is selected, pickup is around 6:00 AM. The exact pickup time is confirmed the day before.
Flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi
Around 7:00 AM, board a twin-engine aircraft for the flight to Mikumi. The flight takes approximately one hour and offers views of the coastline and landscapes towards Mikumi National Park.
Morning Game Drive
After arriving at Kikoboga Airstrip around 8:00 AM, meet your professional local safari guide and begin your game drive in a 4×4 safari vehicle.
Explore different areas of the park while looking for wildlife including elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and antelopes. Leopards may also be seen with some luck.
Lunch in the Park
Around 12:00–1:00 PM, enjoy a buffet lunch at Bandas Restaurant surrounded by the natural environment of Mikumi National Park.
Afternoon Game Drive
After lunch, continue exploring the park and searching for more wildlife before returning towards the airstrip around 3:00–4:00 PM.
Return to Zanzibar
Take the return flight to Zanzibar. If hotel transportation has been selected, a vehicle will take you back to your hotel, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.
